DAMA industrial is a specialized painting, coating, and lining company started by Mike Andersen and David Arthun. Our projects are completed with the highest quality and cost effective practices. Some of our best work includes the Eagle River Waste Water Treatment Facility, ConocoPhillips Beluga River natural gas piping project and the MEA Eklutna Generation Station. 

 

Mike

Mike Andersen: President

Mike Andersen was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. After high school he started his industrial coating career on the Trans-Alaska pipeline where he worked as an industrial painter following in his father’s footsteps. His management career began with Pacific Construction in 1984, and in January of 1994 started with Swalling Construction Co., Inc. as a coating manager and coating division manager.
In February of 2011 he became President of DAMA industrial LLC., which specializes in all types of industrial coatings such as fuel storage tanks, water reservoirs, water and waste water treatment plants, highway bridges, and petrochemical industry. Mike is a member of NACE International and holds a certified coating inspection certificate.

 
David

David Arthun: Vice President

David Arthun was born and raised in south-central Montana. After graduating from the University of Montana with a degree in Business, with an emphasis in Marketing, he joined Sherwin Williams Paints as an Assistant Manager. He later held the positions of Operations Manager, Market Manager, and Architectural Sales Representative. He moved to Alaska in 2000, and in 2007, he started Arthun Painting Inc., a commercial paint contracting company where he serves as President and CEO.

In February of 2011, he became Vice President of DAMA Industrial LLC. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he has served on the Board of Directors of the Chugiak Benefit Association, Renaissance Bioenergy, and Point North Investments.
